OS = Windows 7 SP1 ×64 LibreOffice = 5.1.3.2 (x64)

I have LO setup to load the Quickstarter at system boot-up. When it loads it puts an icon in the system tray. I very much like the Quickstart function but I have no use at all for the icon in system tray. Is there a setting I can make in LO that will stop the icon from being put in the system tray?

If the answer to that is “no”, where do users lodge ‘Feature Requests’ for LO? Where is it on the web?

Windows can be configured for
Windows can be configured for which items appear in the system tray. There is a triangle/Arrow to the left of the system tray, when you hover over this with mouse it shows “Show hidden icons”. Click on this and then select “Customise…”. For each item in the system tray you can set to “Show icon and notifications”, “Hide icon and notifications”, or “Only show notifications”.

There is a report a bug link at the top of this page that takes you to the website for bug reporting. You would need to register with that site to report a bug and you could set that as an enhancement request.

Thanks for the response Mark.
Thanks for the response Mark. I knew how to deal with this using Windows own settings for the system tray. Unfortunately doing it that way forces the user into making settings for all the system tray icons. Way to much fiddling around.

I’ll see if I can submit this as a feature request.

Thanks again.

P.S. I see this forum is due to shutdown within the next few weeks.
