Hello,

I am running Pclinuxos and have recently upgraded my LibreOffice to 5.1.1.3. Since this upgrade the menu options have become all squashed together. By making the system font size smaller in Pclinuxos the menu options are now separated.

Just to try something else I reverted the font size back as I had noticed that the default language was set to English USA.
I went into the LibreOffice writer and chose Tools>Options>Language Settings>Language and changed to English UK. After clicking on ok and was returned to the writer screen the ‘squashed’ menu options had been spaced out correctly. But once I exited writer and reloaded writer the menu options once again became squashed.

In Pclinuxos I had a font size of 14/sans serif which worked ok before the upgrade. I had to reduce to font size 11 to ‘unsquash’ the menu options.

This ‘squashing’ of the menu options has only occurred since the upgrade to 5.1.1.3.

Has anyone else had this issue? Or resolved it?

Thanks

Gary

Libreoffice 5.1.1.3
In Tools>Options>View both the OpenGL boxes are unchecked. I have noticed that in this View option, for instance I change the scaling to 99% and accept. The menu options become unsquashed. However, when I exit and return the menu’s once again become squashed.

HiDPI?
Do you have a HiDPI screen? There are a few bugs related to UI scaling for HiDPI screens. Most cite toolbars but the problem may be more widespread.
