Hello there,

rumor has it there is the possibility of creating half a space.

This would be useful when formatting dates, for example, as in 1.27.2016

A full space after each dot would look strange, but no space looks a little cramped.

Anyone have an idea how to pull this off?

Thanks,
Dan

unicode spaces
Try using a thin space (U+2009) or a six-per-em space. Instructions for Unicode input vary according to platform however under the upcoming v5.1 the Alt+X method will be included for Windows (refer release notes).
