Cari Maccanici,
vi scrivo perché non riesco a venirne a capo. Per il perdurare del problema di cui vi parlo oggi ho piallato il disco e dopo l'installazione nuova ho importato tutti i dati utente dall'ultimo backup nella speranza che il "fastidio" che mi dà iTunes passasse, ma non è andata così.
Mi spiego: se riprendo il mac dallo stop tutto funziona bene ma iTunes non va "solo" per 2 punti:
1) non esegue l'aggiornamento delle app nel senso che non verifica nulla, non fa nulla;
2) se gli chiedo di aggiornare Genius si blocca;
3) se voglio chiuderlo se ne impipa e devo fare un'uscita forzata inoltre se subito dopo lo riavvio va in crash.
Per il resto va correttamente e entra nello store e nel mio account senza problemi.
Altra piccola nota: il Mac App Store si ostina a non scaricare l'ultima versione completa di Yosemite. Tenta di far partire il download ma poi si ferma mentre scarica regolarmente ogni altro programma.
Vi parlo anche di questo perché non so se i 2 problemi possono essere correlati.
Tutti gli altri programmi funzionano e comunque per risolvere iTunes devo riavviare il mac mentre Mac App Store se ne frega imperterrito anche del riavvio..
Per favore mi aiutate a capire?
Devo proprio cancellare tutto e fare un'installazione da zero di tutto?

Disinstallato Netshade (il suo uninstaller e poi AppDelete) il problema persiste.
iTunes dopo il risveglio dallo stop non aggiorna le app e se gli chiedo di chiudersi se ne frega. Inoltre Genius non accede ad iTunes Store ma, cosa strana, l'accesso allo Store nelle altre finestre di iTunes avviene regolarmente: non capisco che razza di problema possa interferire parzialmente con la connessione di iTunes.
Che stia tentando di fare chissà cos'altro? Un conflitto con vattelappesca? Un bug che affligge solo me (improbabile!)??
Mac App Store funziona in tutto tranne che nello scaricare Yosemite per intero...
Aiutatemi a capire se devo fare una installazione da zero di tutto.

Netshade non è ben disinstallato, vedi anche le voci rayner.
Il problema è evidentemente legato ad un controllo sulle connessioni.
Non è che dal check si possa capire molto.
Vedo solo che hai una buona dotazione di programmi e client.
Tutti leciti e probabilmente aggiornati.
Al di là di Netshade, il downloader estensione di Safari ed anche Handsoff, il firewall aggiuntivo (che bisogna vedere come è configurato), non saprei dove altro appuntare l'attenzione.
Prova a disabilitare anche quello,
In linea di massima ti consiglierei di togliere qualsiasi cosa nelle applicazioni al login dell'utente, in Preferenze di Sistema.
Se fatto questo non hai nessun cambiamento nel problema potremmo vedere un system.log, cosa cambia dopo lo stop.
Prova quindi a annotare in Console l'ultima riga, con il sistema in condizioni di piena funzionalità.
Manda in stop, risveglia, cerca di connetterti e prova le manovre che vengono negate, riapri Console e posta da quella puntata alla riga ultima che trovi adesso.

Per togliere del tutto le voci relative a Netshade è sufficiente cancellare i file .plist (non me ne ero accorto...) nel resoconto? Probabilmente li segnala "invalid" perché non trova il programma relativo e l'agente.
HandsOff è configurato in maniera basilare: blocca le connessioni che non ho autorizzato in entrata e uscita e iTunes (ho verificato) è libero da blocchi come tutti i programmi Apple. Peraltro sul mio Mini iTunes non crea problemi e ho scaricato Yosemite dal Mac App Store senza problemi.
Seguirò quel che dici e toglierò tutto quello che parte automaticamente all'avvio e ti farò sapere.
Una piccola nota: alcune volte dal risveglio iTunes non fa capricci... e sempre alcune volte, se li fa, dopo un po' di tempo riprende a funzionare... Boh?!

Vai a /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/

com.apple.airport.preferences.plist
com.apple.network.identification.plist
com.apple.wifi.message-tracer.plist
NetworkInterfaces.plist
preferences.plist
Riavvia e riaccendi WiFi

Dopo una serie di stop e risvegli iTunes sembra aver smesso di rompere.

P.S.: dei 5 file che mi hai detto di cancellare 1 non esiste sul mio mac ed è "com.apple.network.identification.plist"... boh?

Quel file non è presente in tutte le configurazioni.
Potresti avere anche com.apple.network.eapolclient.configuration.plist o altro.
Ma evidentemente non era interessato all'errore
