[ UPDATE ]

Credevo, speravo di aver risolto i problemi... ma oggi (un paio di giorni dopo le operazioni, di cui nel post precedente),
riavvio e mi ritrovo le icone dei files (su Scrivania e nelle Cartelle varie) di nuovo scombinate, cioè - come talvolta capitava - persa la disposizione che avevo impostato!

Siccome Faxus stesso mi aveva detto (pochi giorni fa, come potete vedere) di fare le procedure che mi indicava e di informarlo tempestivamente circa i log e gli esiti - appunto affinché potesse avere un responso chiaro e potesse, quindi, indicarmi come concludere l'intera problematica... - vi chiederei se cortesemente potete segnalarglielo.
Se cioè possa dare un'ultima occhiata e consiglio, poi lo lascerò in pace, rispettando la sua scelta.

Io, però, non sapevo minimamente del suo intento di astenersi da forum.
Non intendevo né intendo sapere né tantomeno pubblicizzare aspetti della sua vita privata.

Comunque riguardo quei log, non vedo nulla che possa direttamente influire sulle icone della scrivania. Ti consiglierei però di reinstallare Dropbox, seguendo prima però questi passaggi:

Per Chrome, prova a vedere se far ricostruire (con un programma tipo Onyx) il database LaunchServices aiuta.

Non riesce a creare dei database, che sono legati all'indicizzazione.
Non è un problema "molto serio", se non ti sei nemmeno accorto, ma tanto vale sistemare anche quello.
