Major New Features

Camino 2.1 Beta 1

The following major features have been added to Camino 2.1 Beta 1 and will be in Camino 2.1 when it is released. The full release notes are also available.

Note: Some of these features are not yet completely implemented.

Enhanced Location Bar Autocomplete: The location bar’s autocomplete feature now displays results in a single list, using an improved ranking algorithm.
Improved Plug-in Control: Camino now disables certain insecure or incompatible versions of common plug-ins. In addition, Camino now supports loading plug-ins from the profile’s “Internet Plug-Ins” folder.
Gecko chrome and component registration: Camino 2.1 Beta 1 supports loading components and chrome from the profile, making it easier to use some simple Gecko extensions.
Other Important Changes in Camino 2.1 Beta 1

Because there is no secure version of the Flash plug-in available for PowerPC Macs, version 2.1 Beta 1 enables the “Block Flash animations” preference by default on those Macs.
Camino 2.1 Beta 1 no longer ships with a Java plug-in. Users who need to run Java applets should install Java Plug-In 2 or Java Embedding Plugin, as appropriate for the version of Mac OS X in use.

Velocissimo,adesso è compatibile anche con google + Consumo cpu e memoria con 16 pannelli aperti nettamente inferiore a Safari 5.Se questi sono i presupposti della beta allora la versione definitiva avrà di sicuro un ottimo riscontro
