Buon pomeriggio,
in occasione di ogni aggiornamento ad un nuovo sistema operativo, nella specie Sierra, mi ritrovo a chiedervi un aiuto.
Dopo aver istallato Sierra, il sistema va lentissimo, safari si blocca ed addirittura la scrittura [come in questo momento sul vostro sito] va a tratti.
Cosa possa fare?
Vi ringrazio come sempre per l'aiuto.

La ram scarsa e il disco rotazionale, inadatti a Sierra, mettono in luce qualsiasi piccolo problema.

In questo caso hai l’indicizzazione sballata.
Ripristina con Terminale

Non solo l'HD rotazionale ma è anche troppo pieno.
La Ram è poca, almeno 8 GB ce ne vorrebbero.
Con SSD e 8 GB sarebbe un'altra storia.
Io ho il tuo stesso iMac con le caratteristiche sopra e va benissimo.
Ti consiglio almeno una installazione pulita con non troppe applicazioni, forse migliorerebbe un pochino.

Infatti, il 10% del disco libero è appena sufficiente.
Vicino al 5% si blocca tutto.

Dovrebbe essere intorno al 15%, cioè 70-80GB.
Oltre al resto, non va bene, ovviamente

Vi chiedo nuovamente di aiutarmi in quanto il mio mac è praticamente fermo.
Ho fatto un monitoraggio attività e le applicazioni che richiedono più ram sono Kernel task e windows server.

Ma secondo me 'è dell'altro, forse.

- Ti si è rallentato tutto da quando hai installato Sierra?
- A cosa ti serve e lo usi Aruba hideswitch?
- Come fa ad essere pieno il disco di backup con due backup soltanto?
(col contenuto del disco di meno di 400GB e col disco di backup di 1TB)
- Sei certo di non aver fatto correzioni al check, prima di postarlo?
