Lo fa raramente e solo da quando ho reinstallato il SO.
Quando si impalla su un sito, chiudendo la finestra, crasha.

Puoi togliere Perian, non è più supportato da oltre 3 anni.

Hai dei duplicati nelle estensioni di Safari.
Alcune sono duplicati veri, altre fanno la stessa cosa, inutile averle, raddoppi solo le possibilità di problemi, anche se non è grave…
(Come opinione personale, tenerne più di 6 o 7 è inutile perché non riesci ad utilizzarli quando servono, questo è mano grave ancora)

In generale, potevi approfittare della reinstallazione per fare un po' di pulizie.
C'è troppa roba.
Lo so che magari ti serve quasi tutta.
Ma l'avere un sistema datato non ti mette al sicuro da aggiornamenti e sostituzioni che vanno fatte nel tempo.

Fatto sta che 4GB di ram non ti bastano, troppa roba attiva, troppe estensioni, troppi plugin in giro per il sistema.
La semplificazione è d'obbligo, usare poco e il più efficiente.
Inutile usare due browser che fanno la stessa cosa e suppongo abbiano le stesse estensioni e pochi (troppi, cioè).

La conseguenza è la memoria a tampone e l'uso della porzione swap che occupa spazio su disco.
Nei fatti, il sistema marcia lento e sempre sotto sforzo.

Eh... Lo so lo so, non hanno rispetto per l'età.
Neanche per quella del tuo Mac, oltretutto, questi fottuti plugin...

Ciao, grazie per le info.

Avevo già buttato i plug-in di google ed eliminato quelli poco usati.
Avevo già buttato la cartella safari all'interno della libreria utente recuperando solo i preferiti e i segnalibri.
Tutto sembra funzionare e l'odiosa pagina non viene più aperta.

Devo usare due browser, anzi tre, poiché safari non viene più aggiornato per il mio S.O. e in molti siti le pagine neppure si caricano, ecco quindi che interviene firefox.

So di avere troppa roba ma, considerato che ormai per S.L. non si trova più molto, sono restio a buttare qualcosa che un giorno (mai ) potrebbe servire a me o a qualcuno.

Ti ho inviato il log richiesto: essendo ormai diverso da quelli generati dagli ultimi S.O., avrebbe solo ingenerato confusione negli eventuali lettori.
Se invece ritieni che possa servire, dimmi che sezioni pubblicare o, se preferisci, fallo tu.
