Images disappeared in Writer
There is a big trouble, i’m working in the LibreOffice Writer ( 5.0.5.2 ID : 55b006a02d247b5f7215fc6ea0fde844b30035b3) and of course sometimes paste images on pages (especially use Snipping Tool, windows 7). Everytime when i’m working in Writer all images disappear (you can see this “phenomena” on screenshot – figure 1 “Reading Error”). Well, i don’t understand how this may be. After this error the size of file decreased like if i deleated images. Wtf ?

1. I only embedded images.
2. At the first time – “.png”, then i repeated this operation with “.jpg” and problem appeared once again.
3. At the first time – “Copy-Paste” (especially use Snipping Tool) – i just click the button (ctrl-c then go back in Writer and ctrl-v or use the button “copy” in Snipping Tool). When i were testing “.jpg” fileformat i used second way (by the menu item ‘Insert – Picture’) and problem appeared once again.
4. Yes, I did. You can check this point at the Figure № 2. Well, images deleated itself (this fact i defined, because the size of file was cuted – this was surprise for me).
Yesterday, i were testing some hypothesis.
H.1. Especially, i opened many textual documents (maybe 5 or 7) and other programmes (Google Chrome with many web-sites). The situation was under control (RAM is not the reason of it – i have only 2 gigabytes).
H.2. I linked some extra images into this document. So, now this images are okay.
H.3. I were testing amount of steps (more 100), and other parameters (Figure № 3).
Well, now i am not sure what exactly initiates the problem. It’s sounds like a magic….

I’am testing now my ideas. So what, i would like to say. I opened some files “.odt” (3 files) and just were working with paper, pen… and waiting. I checked every 10 minutes – what was going on. So, in one moment the problem appeared again (Figure 4) ! I did’t change anything in documents, i saw, that the size of document was decreased. Then, i just reloaded file – and… Images reloaded too ! And the size of file too ! From 46 Kb to 426 Kb. What is the magic ?!

Note that a recording takes all events. With filtering you only select the events displayed. When you save your recording you might look from different angels. Also the corresponding stack-trace is preserved with each event.
This “phenomena” was happend as i suppose from 15:25 to 15:29 . When was 15:29 i saw the “Reading Error” (the size of file – 426 Kb), then i changed one word in document and saved the file. In this moment, the size of document decreased to 318 Kb. Then i stoped a recording. (

Try increasing the values as much as possible. The figures given in that post are likely outdated. RAM restriction can result in what you are seeing.
Hello, everyone ! I found true cause of the problem. This name is “Auslogics Boostspeed”. Well, i tested all hypothesis and definitely undestood that all of them were wrongfull. This programm “Auslogics bootspeed” usually run some kind of monitor and erasing of hard-drive in different times. The icon of this process located in the system tray and there is a short period of time (maybe 10 or 15 minutes) between appearing of “Reading Error” and the end of working this peace of shit. I unistalled this programm and the problem was disappeared. I suppose that other people may have similar problems with antivirus or something else. Maybe we need to add some information about potential conflicts between software ? 
Which fileformat have those inserted pictures?
How you inserted the pictures (by the menu item ‘Insert – Picture’, or ‘Copy-Paste’/‘Drag&Drop’ method?)
Have you checked the ‘View – Images’ option?
