I have always noted that the dropdown Font History is a bit arbritrary and inaccurate. As of late, however, it has began to bother me quite a lot, since I have gotten used to use only or mainly OpenSans, and, for some reason, it never remembers that particular font, which means that the Font History is actually of no use (to me).

Is this a bug or is it something I could fix (without having to get a degreee in astrophysics, that is)?

Thanks and congratulations on the wonderful job everyone is doing!

What is meant by “font history”? Is this a reference to the font name pull-down selector on the Formatting toolbar?
