LibreOffice 5 install/uninstall takes 15+ minutes

Since installing I’ve had nothing but trouble with Calc (90%+ of my LibreOffice use) – formulae mysteriously changing when files were reopened, point and click formula creation leading to random characters appearing in the cell, column widths changing when the file was reopened. Too much weirdness to be trustworthy.

I decided rather than messing around with the user profile as suggested, I’d go back to v.4 still. I’m writing this while I wait for the uninstall program to finish. 15+ minutes again.

My question: Is this long install/uninstall time normal?

I’m just hoping that v.4 is more reliable.
