Since upgrading to LO 4.4.5.2 the option to add a URL for my favorite persona no longer works. Actually, it’s completely gone. I hated the persona’s LO offers by default and rather wanted a persona that would continue the indeginous sky blue color. Since it didn’t exist I created it myself and added it to the database of Firefox Personas: https://addons.mozilla.org/nl/firefox/addon/libreoffice-sky-blue-abstract/ Can someone please recommend to me what to do next ?

Dear Tibor, I highly respect you for your contributions to LibreOffice.
With thousands of code issues to go this may seem a bit irrelevant to you.
I can relate to that.

My point though, is not only my own interest.
Being able to personalize is a big thing globally.
It is one of the things which sets LibreOffice apart from the office suite from that big monolithic company, which shall be unmentioned.
Any inch that you take away from that, draws LO closer to their policies, which would be a win for them.

I went through the effort to create a Persona for LibreOffice, being my first ever.
Although it not being any technological achievement by far, it means a great deal to me.
Being an active contributor to the open source ideals myself, although not specifically for LO, I hope you can at least relate to that.

The thing being: I’d rather not look at this light gray toolbar of LO all the time.
And to be honest, I think the default optional Personas suck.
Too intrusive colors and mostly with prints on them that only distract.

My self made persona copies to the light gray area the default light blue color from LO, which doesn’t cover the main toolbar.
So it’s just adding to the work of others.
As such underlining their insights.

I respect the fact we have different idea’s about the needs of a work space.
But LO was not meant to just serve just any one specific need.
And believe me, the need for personalizing in this mainly grim world, is not a luxury for many people.
It can be part of their instruments to cope with it all.

Again: I respect your opinions, and also the many achievements LO has made in the last years, please rather tell me how I can fix LO so I can keep using my Persona, than tell me to change how I feel.

Regards,
