è un modello A1181 come da voi indicato, ora vado a modificare il titolo della discussione.

Sto operando le modifiche sul sw, farò un riavvio, in attesa poi di indicazione per hw.

Il macbook non funziona bene da quando ho fatto sostituire la scheda madre. Da allora il funzionamento di tasti e trackpad è molto "random": alle volte va bene per un mese, poi si blocca e devo ricorrere alla tastiera esterna.

Hai il sistema compromesso.
Hai scaricato e autorizzato l'installazione di software modificato in malevolo.
Da siti di warez o da siti risultati hackerati.

Non te ne lamentare più di tanto.
Avevi comunque una situazione di trascuratezza e inadeguatezza del software abbastanza disastrosa.
Ti avrei consigliato comunque di fare un lavorone tale da consigliare una nuova installazione.

Selezione bene il software in futuro e aggiornalo.
Non montare porcate come quella robaccia di Clean My Mac o cose per potenziare indebitamente l'hardware.
Scarica solo da siti sicuri software legale

Vediamo come si evolve la situazione.

Intanto, in campo hardware

Posso testimoniare che
- dopo aver aperto il macbook in centro non autorizzato, tastiera e trackpad possono dare problemi perché il coperchio metallico sottostante va posizionato in un certo modo.
- basta una vite posizionata male in prossimitá della batteria per causare il problema


C'e il rischio di rovinare i supporti metallici dopo la chiusura, soprattutto il trackpad ne può risentire.

Perché si era reso "necessario" sostituire la scheda logica? (Dopo, tutto avrebbe dovuto funzionare a perfezione, no?)

Comuque: aspettiamo la reinstallazione, re-inizializzando da zero l'intero disco (salvando fuori ciò che devi salvare), e vediamo come si comportano tastiera, pad e l'intero apparato.

(Io penserei anche ad un nuovo disco SSD, salire all'OS X 10.9 Mavericks (ma puoi arrivare anche al 10.11...) e se la macchina lo consente - controlla cosa dicono il system information e/ MacTracker e/o everymac.com - aumentare la RAM).

Edit: potresti arrivare a 6Gb RAM:

Sì, assicurati di avere un backup aggiornato e valido.

Esegui una reimpostazione della NVRAM

Riavvia da Recovery, con Utility Disco inizializza Macintosh HD.
Poi torna nuovamente a Installa OS X e installa il sistema.
Quando ti propone di Assistente Migrazione fallo con quello.

Ma attenzione, recupera solo i dati utente, null'altro.
Le applicazioni le scaricherai nuovamente e le impostazioni dovrai ripeterle.

Non montare nulla che non usi effettivamente.
Non mettere assolutamente CleanMyMac, è un truffaware (né antivirus o pulitori vari)
Evita TeamViewer

Cari tutti, l'estate è passata ed anche il caro "bianchino" (di cui in oggetto) è stato messo a riposo.
Di ritorno a settembre, di buona lena nelle pause da lavoro, ho eseguito per filo e per segno quanto suggerito gentilmente da Faxus nell'ultimo messaggio. Il risultato è il report di Etrecheck che allego. Sembra tutto a posto, ma... la tastiera non dà ancora segni di vita. Che sia lecito a questo punto pensare seriamente ad un problema hardware? e, in caso affermativo, come mi consigliereste di muovermi, visto che il bianchino è vecchiotto sì ma, tastiera e bluetooth a parte, funziona perfettamente?

Non so se tastiera e touchpad abbiano un flat separabile dal resto dell'assemblaggio, in caso sarebbero le prime cose da controllare.
In alternativa va cambiato il top case
