Ho thunderbird come altri client... ho tanti indirizzi email... ogni client ha il suo scopo...
thunderbird, si apriva in 10 secondi.. impensabile... me ne stavo, non lo uso tantissimo... però... ho scoperto il perchè... la rubrica...ho cancellato la rubrica, avevo importato quella totale.. ma in realtà, non mi serve averla. l'ho cancellata..
indovinate.. si apre al volo.. ok sono più di 1000 numeri ma che thunderbird impieghi cosi tanto tempo per aprirsi avendola in memoria...
comunque ai posteri, se thunderbird si apre molto lentamente, la rubrica è il fattore.

È da qualche tempo che mi si apre proprio lentamente.

comunque ai posteri, se thunderbird si apre molto lentamente, la rubrica è il fattore.

PS: ogni tanto va in una specie di loop, che fa partire le ventole del MBP16. Chiudo e riapro Thunderbird e tutto torna alla normalità.

PS: anch'io come te ho diverse (più di una decina) caselle/account email.
PS: con tanti messaggi da gestire il locale, quindi archivi da diversi GB.

Bene, mi fa piacere sia stato di aiuto. la mia rubrica è grande.. 1200 numeri circa... magari con un numero inferiore non lo fa...

Ho scoperto ciò.
Togliendo l'autorizzazione per la rubrica contatti di macOS, Thunderbird si avvia al volo come una volta.
Anche avendo importato la rubrica con 2.254 contatti di macOS.
Importati, quindi dentro una delle rubriche di Thunderbird. Non più collegati quindi Thunderbird e Contacts.

Importati, quindi dentro una delle rubriche di Thunderbird. Non più collegati quindi Thunderbird e Contacts.
