Qualche settimana fa smontai il mio imac 21.5 mid2011 pezzo pezzo per levargli la montagna di polvere che lo aveva riempito,
montare un bel crucial bx300 sulla porta sata libera, cambiare il disco rotazionale da 500 con un bel seagate da 1TB e sistemare finalmente tutto.
Ovviamente si presentò quasi subito il problema delle ventole e installai macsfancontrol che però non mi è parso funzionare bene perché spesso durante la notte trovavo l'imac riavviato, fermo al login e con le ventole al massimo.... E comunque non mi sembrava stabile in generale rispetto a prima.
Decido così di acquistare il cavetto sensore di owc....riapro, installo il cavetto e via: ventole ok, niente più riavvi notturni.
Per l'installazione feci così:
fusiondrive ssd da 240GB + seagate da 1TB, installazione da memoria usb di high sierra, recupero da backup time machine e installazione ulteriori aggiornamenti.
Imac velocissimo, test velocità disco come atteso e tutto ok.
Poi inizio a notare un enorme carico disco e cpu....ok si era imaballato qualcosa nel cloud apple....sistemo e lascio a sincronizzare tutta la notte. Problema risolto.
Applico la patch per attivare il night shift e sembra finalmente che abbia terminato.
Ma purtroppo riscontro stranezze in safari....cioé alle volte cliccando su qualche bottone, o su qualche link o scrivendo in qualche casella viene fuori la beachball che blocca safari e rende meno reattivo il sistema.
Ho provato delle sistemazioni leggendo il forum e la situazione è molto migliorata ma ancora di tanto in tanto 2-3 volte al giorno direi, spunta sta beachball...
e l'altra sera, con safari che riproduceva dei video youtube e la app whatsapp in funzione per 3 volte mi è capitato di sentire rumore dalla cassa destra del mac, poi blocco e quindi riavvio o riavvio forzato.
Rifatto AHT e tutto ok, etrecheck a me sembra ok, anche se i giorni scorsi mi diceva high cpu use o per safari o per mdns mi pare... ma adesso non più...
scusate per la lunghezza ma ho cercato di dare quanti più dettagli.
