Be' , in effetti, più che arrampicarsi sugli specchi direi che ci scivola giù...
La macchina con El Capitan andrebbe benino, se usata senza necessitá di richieste grafiche.
Finché Immagini gestisce 200 foto può anche andare, ma con le 18000 che ho in memoria si impianta un pò, mettendo al palo qualsiasi altra applicazione.
Purtroppo temo che la mia vecchia signora abbia raggiunto l'etá del pensionamento, la terrò per fare qualche ulteriore prova.
Ho deciso di provare El Capitan perché iniziava a darmi problemi anche con Snow Leopard, pur reinstallato da 0.

Per quanto riguarda i file sudoers sinceramente non so chi o cosa possa averli modificati. Pensavo fossero una prerogativa solo di Linux.... Vabbé.

Non penso installerò la ram aggiuntiva, per avere poi una macchina piantata ad ogni apertura di iPhoto o iTunes, dovrò decidermi ad andare in tasca.

Se premi "support", voce per voce, vieni accompagnato alle pagine di chiarimento che ti spiegano cos'è, a chi appartiene e se, quel file, è dannoso.

Inoltre, considerato che usi mavericks e che c'è advaremedic o come diavolo si chiama che su quella versione di so funziona, diventa facile, basta un click, eliminare ciò che eventualmente disturba.
